In 2024 Harlem High School received a 28,000s.f. CTE (Career Technical Education) Addition and remodeling of their Culinary Art Classroom and Early Childhood Classroom.

The CTE area included an automotive lab, small/large engines lab, welding lab, metals lab, wood shop/construction lab, manufacturing lab, and associated classrooms. A portion of the addition was dedicated to a private medical clinic and included a commons area with a grand staircase for group presentations. A new HVAC system, electrical service, network infrastructure, audio-video system, LED lighting and lighting controls, fire protection and fire alarm systems were provided. The CTE program will educate students to become familiar with the Trades and allow them to gain immediate employment straight out of high school.

The Culinary Art Lab received all new commercial cooking equipment requiring an exhaust/make-up air hood system, Ansul system, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and LED lighting and lighting control systems. This program, like the other, will train students in the field of Culinary Arts and allow them to gain employment out of high school or advance to further culinary training at college and university level.

The Early Childhood Classroom received a complete remodeling of the space and incorporates a new toilet room and new HVAC, electrical, network cabling and LED lighting and lighting control systems.
