JEFFREY A. LEVERENZ
President - Mechanical
Mr. Leverenz has 34 years of experience in the design and management of mechanical, plumbing and fire protection systems for commercial, institutional, governmental, and educational facilities. Other areas of expertise include project quality control, construction management, and project administration and site observation.
Mr. Leverenz attended Northern Illinois University and has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology. Mr. Leverenz serves as Project Manager and Lead project engineer on all assigned projects. He possesses experience in a wide array of project types and sizes for Municipal, Institutional, Educational and Commercial facilities. Mr. Leverenz also performs facility assessments, energy audits and feasibility studies.
Project Experience
School District U-46: Presently serves as Project Manager and Lead Mechanical Project Engineer for projects within the school district. Projects include phased remodeling and additions at multiple schools within the district. Over the span of 25 years of continued district service, he has led the design of several remodeling and infrastructure projects at the District’s 40 elementary schools, 8 middle schools, 5 high schools, and multiple administrative and transportation facilities.
Projects at U-46 high schools have included phased renovations, replacements and modernization of Mechanical, Plumbing and Electrical systems driven by summer construction schedules. These projects have included conversion of steam/hot water heating systems, replacement of boilers, air handling units, chillers and the addition of chilled water pumps, coils and piping.
Barrington Community Unit School District 220: Served as Project Manager and Lead Mechanical Project Engineer for several projects associated with Capital improvements, Life Safety Implementation, plumbing renovations and HVAC upgrades at multiple Schools.
Keeneyville Elementary School District 20: Served as Project Manager and Lead Mechanical Project Engineer for projects within the school district. Projects included phased remodeling and addition project at the Waterbury Elementary School and remodeling and infrastructure projects at the District’s two elementary schools and one middle school.
